Chamber Music by the Bay wrapped up its inaugural season school visits today at Saratoga High School, where we played for one orchestra period and the wind ensemble. We were so inspired by our rehearsal this afternoon with four incredible Saratoga High School musicians– Max, Jackie, Linus, and Kevin– with whom we are performing the first two movements of the Mendelssohn Octet on Sunday.
Also, CMB’s ever thanks goes out to Michael Boitz for his belief & support in our work from the very start– so much love for music & working with youth!
One more performance tomorrow at the Morgan Hill Library, and Sunday’s “New Horizons” concert to celebrate our inaugural season! Hope you can make it to the performance! These students really know how to make good music, and we are thrilled to be collaborating with them! Plus, the concert is free!
