We’re excited to announce the details of our 2018 season here! From working with students at One World Montessori Schools to Saratoga and Pioneer High Schools, we look forward to sharing Beethoven’s Op. 130 and Grosse Fuge with our audiences throughout the Bay Area. Joining forces with Lynbrook @CASMEC!

To kick off our 2016 Season and 5th anniversary, Chamber Music by the Bay is very honored to be joining the Lynbrook High School Orchestra, led by Michael Pakaluk, for a performance of Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro at the California All-State Music Educators Conference (CASMEC) in San Jose, CA this week. Stay tuned as we dive into rehearsals with the fabulous orchestra at Lynbrook over the next few days!

We had a triple header yesterday at Lynbrook High School, Cupertino Library, and SF Towers, including the sneak world premiere of Daniel Temkin’s “Ocean Call”. 2015 Season Announced

We’re pumped to share our 2015 season, which includes renewed partnerships with the Santa Clara County Library as well as schools including Redwood and Castillero Middle Schools, Saratoga and Lynbrook High Schools, and One World Montessori Preschools! We’re also thrilled to welcome Daniel Temkin as our first-ever composer-in-residence to teach our young audiences about the world of composition. Join us for our programs as we compose musical works together in real-time with CMB’s resident quartet, and don’t forget to save the date for our annual concert on April 4, 2015!

CMB’s 2014 season is off to a busy start! From working with middle school students at Castillero and Redwood to libraries ranging from Morgan Hill to Saratoga, we’ve been inspired by the imagination of our young audiences.

As our week moves at a fast, fun pace, please follow our ongoing updates on Facebook! We’ll be sharing photos, clips, and fun anecdotes from our 2014 season this week.

Last but not least, join us this Friday evening at 7:30 PM at the Saratoga Presbyterian Church for a celebration of our 2014 season! Admission is $10 adults/$5 students, and the program will also feature talented Young Artists from Saratoga and Lynbrook High Schools in our annual Side-by-Side Project!

Kicking off CMB’s 2014 Season!

Join us as we kick off our 2014 season THIS Saturday, March 29th, at 4:00 PM at the Morgan Hill Library. The free program features “What’s Up, Papa Haydn?” for children ages 10 and under, as well as a Petting Zoo for our young audiences to try their own hand at a variety of stringed instruments!
