Announcing our 2019 season

cmb-fb-iconChamber Music by the Bay is turning eight, and we’re excited to announce the details of our 2019 season here! We welcome back teaching artists Zenas Hsu and Janny Joo, violins, Jessica Chang, violist, and Laura Gaynon, cellist. From working with libraries up and down the Peninsula to Dartmouth and Hart Middle Schools, we’re looking forward to sharing Franz Schubert’s world with young audiences throughout the Bay Area. We’re also excited to announce a special concert with the Saratoga Foothill Club on Thursday, January 31st. Don’t miss our annual concert on Friday, February 1st at the McAfee Center for the Performing Arts!

Dear CMB friends and family, thanks for helping CMB celebrate our fifth season! We are grateful for your support, encouragement, attendance, and excitement about music and learning.

2016 Season: We’re turning five

Chamber Music by the Bay is excited to kick off its Fifth Season on Monday, April 18th!

Joining forces with Lynbrook @CASMEC!

To kick off our 2016 Season and 5th anniversary, Chamber Music by the Bay is very honored to be joining the Lynbrook High School Orchestra, led by Michael Pakaluk, for a performance of Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro at the California All-State Music Educators Conference (CASMEC) in San Jose, CA this week. Stay tuned as we dive into rehearsals with the fabulous orchestra at Lynbrook over the next few days!

CMB’s 2014 season is off to a busy start! From working with middle school students at Castillero and Redwood to libraries ranging from Morgan Hill to Saratoga, we’ve been inspired by the imagination of our young audiences.

As our week moves at a fast, fun pace, please follow our ongoing updates on Facebook! We’ll be sharing photos, clips, and fun anecdotes from our 2014 season this week.

Last but not least, join us this Friday evening at 7:30 PM at the Saratoga Presbyterian Church for a celebration of our 2014 season! Admission is $10 adults/$5 students, and the program will also feature talented Young Artists from Saratoga and Lynbrook High Schools in our annual Side-by-Side Project!
